We are heartbroken to report that the beloved Macrino “Mac” Craft passed away on July 17, 2020, due to complications associated with cancer. He was 55. Widely known as “Superman” around the Sweet Shop, he worked for the Johnson family for the past 16 years.
“Mac was a great man. Caring smile. Loved everyone and would give his shirt off his back or his last dollar,” says his best friend, Derrick Huggins. “Mac was an inspiration to many.”
Many friends from the horse industry shared their thoughts about Mac on social media.
“I loved Mac. He was such a great guy and always had a smiling face for everyone,” says Leslie Lange. “We were all so lucky to have had him in our lives and touch us.”
“I loved Mac. Every day at the Congress when I was tired and feeling there was no end, I would get my breakfast from Mac. His happy face and positive energy kept me going,” Karen Hornick stated. “I will miss you, my friend.”
