The tentative schedule for the 2020 AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), is now available online. Nutrena Level 1 Select amateur classes will be held in conjunction with the Adequan® Select World. These classes have been added, due to the cancellation of the 2020 Nutrena AQHA Level 1 Championships and AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. AQHA staff worked in conjunction with the AQHA Show and Professional Horsemen councils to develop an exhibitor-friendly schedule for 2020.
As a result of the rapidly evolving pandemic worldwide, the AQHA Executive Committee waived qualification for the 2020 Adequan® Select World earlier this spring. The Adequan® Select World, which is slated for August 31 – September 6 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, features the world’s top amateur riders, age 50 and over, and their American Quarter Horses. The Adequan® Select World will be held, pending local, state, and federal government mandates.
The safety of AQHA exhibitors, trainers, families, spectators and staff is the Association’s top priority. AQHA staff will continue to monitor coronavirus developments leading up to the 2020 Adequan® Select World. The Association will be in direct contact with exhibitors if any changes are made to this show. Visit www.aqha.com/selectworld for the most up-to-date information on the Adequan® Select World.
Entry information will be available at a later date.
