Exciting Changes to Dixie National Lineup

The Mississippi Quarter Horse Association is pleased to announce following changes to the 55th Annual Dixie National Quarter Horse Show lineup. Our event is held February 11 – 16, 2020, at the State Fairgrounds in Jackson, MS.

Our AQHA Top Ten Special Event Roping on Tuesday February 11 will have the addition of Working Cow Horse and Working Cow Horse Boxing for our 2 Judge event. Then join us the next day, February 12, for 4 more sets of points.

We will have a day of NRHA and AQHA Reining classes along with Ranch Riding on Thursday February 13.

Friday February 14 will be a busy day. We will have a full day of trail in the “Mac Haik Equine Center” with courses designed and maintained by Tim Kimura. The “MS AG John Deere Coliseum” will have a full day of Halter followed by Western Riding Classes. The evening on Valentine’s Day will see Wendy’s Freestyle Reining in the MS AG John Deere Coliseum.

Saturday February 15, the “Mac Haik Equine Center” will have the showmanship classes and all Western Pleasure classes which include our grandparent’s favorites, the leadline class and stick horse races. The “MS AG John Deere” Coliseum will see the inaugural Versatility Ranch Horse Classes which will include cattle classes. Come and show to our three judges and qualify for AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championship.

Sunday will close out our show with Hunter Under Saddle & Equitation classes in the “MS AG John Deere Coliseum”, and our speed events in the “Mac Haik Equine Center”.

All week long the Dixie National Equine Expo will be on the upper level of the Equine Center, and in the trailer court, boasting the best in jewelry, tack, clothing, trucks and trailers.
