Kimes Kandids from Level 1 West AQHA Championships

View the Kimes Kandids taken at the 2019 Level 1 West AQHA World Championship Show being held in Las Vegas.

The West Level 1 AQHA Championships runs through September 30th featuring a showcase of new talent on the West Coast. The show is being held at the South Point Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. We talked to Lauren Blumer, who is a youth exhibitor and Robin Replogle, a horse show mom about what they have enjoyed about the show so far.

“This has been one of our favorite shows ever. Our barn has become so close, it is unbelievable,” says Robin, whose daughter Natasha is under the guidance of Jenn and Justin Wheeler. “We support each other, cheer for each other, and console each other. We have been having so much fun. I love our barn family.

Robin adds, “I have also enjoyed watching my daughter exceed the goals she set for herself and her horse this year. Natasha and Cash have worked very hard, and I am happy they have seen some success.”

So far, Natasha and Cash have won the Level 1 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle and the Rookie and Level 1 Youth Western Riding.

Youth Exhibitor Lauren Blumer of Scottsdale, Arizona has also had great success. She rides under the guidance of Ryan and Andrea Kail. “Our barn has had a great show so far, and I was reserve in the Level 1 Western Riding today which was fun. I think my favorite part of this horse show is to get to see all of the camaraderies among the exhibitors, from the youth kids to the selects. I also love that this show is just Level 1 and Rookie, which takes the pressure off and gives people who might be new to showing the opportunity to get into AQHA.”
