Exhibitors at the West AQHA Level 1 Championships saddle up their American Quarter Horses on September 25th for the opening day of competition at South Point Arena & Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show kickS off at 8 a.m. with Rookie youth ranch riding in the South Point Arena.
The West Level 1, running September 25-30, features walk-trot, Rookie and Level 1 classes. These three levels of AQHA competition are designed for everyone from the beginner to the minimally accomplished competitors in AQHA events, respectively.

The Level 1 West offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen and an educational seminar on nutrition.
