Young Woman Beats the Odds with Rescue Horse at Pinto World Championship

Read this feel good story from the Pinto World that is currently underway in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Amanda Delgado’s horse is a two-time world champion, but just three years ago the animal was malnourished and slowly fading away.

Over the course of two weeks in Tulsa, Delgado and the horse she rescued will compete in the 54th annual Pinto World Championship Show, where it was believed that her horse would never stand a chance against the other competitors.

Delgado, an amateur horse rider with the Pinto Horse Association of America, said the animal was living in extremely poor conditions when she rescued the horse.
