IRVING, TEXAS – Laska Anderson has been awarded the Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award by the Big 12 for having over 100 credit hours taken and maintaining a GPA of 3.80 or better.
“It’s no surprise to learn that Laska captured another academic accolade,” TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield said. “She is a winner in all of her endeavors. I’m sure that we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg of her success.”
Anderson has had great success in the classroom in her time at TCU. As a freshman, she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team with a 4.0 GPA.
Last season, she was named Academic All-Big 12 First Team and tabbed to the Farnam NCEA All-Academic First Team, with a 4.0.
