SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The Kimes Ranch Model Search finished this week. Olivia Townsend was chosen as the 2019 Face of Kimes Ranch Jeans. She will travel to Scottsdale for a three-day photo shoot for the fall 2019 campaign. She will also be placed in advertisements and have heaps of social media exposure.
North Carolina is where Townsend calls home. She is 18 years old and currently a college freshman. Rodeos are her passion and she has been competing in breakaway and team roping events for 12 years. She competes in the Southern Rodeo Association and the International Pro Rodeo Association. When she isn’t riding she is busy modeling, taking care of her cattle and studying hard to obtain her degree. She was ecstatic to find out she won the contest.
“I was floored honestly,” Townsend said. “I was so humbled by the support from my friends and family. There were some amazing people to pick from. I believe that nothing beats hard work and dedication, because I’ve had to work for everything. I aspire to model and cowgirl my entire life. These careers are a permanent fixture in my life and I plan to put forth what it takes to be successful at both.”
Townsend has picked a few favorite styles of Kimes Ranch Jeans. She wears the apparel on and off the horse.
“My all-time favorite jean would have to be the Lola,” Townsend said. “I love trousers. I can dress them up with heels or rodeo in them and they fit my boots perfectly. The Francesca and the Bonnie skinnies are adorable too. I love that Kimes Ranch offers classy, clean lines. Not just in their jeans but also in their apparel. The jackets and sweatshirts are awesome. They are very fashionable and comfortable.”
