FORT WORTH, Texas – Outstanding horsemen and -women, united in their love for remarkable and talented horses, are the foundation upon which the American Paint Horse Association grows. It is through their labors—to improve the breed, smash records and strive for greatness—that the Paint Horse is a colorful leader throughout the global horse community.
To be inducted into the APHAÂ Hall of Fame requires a lifetime of achievement and a legacy that has impacted the association and the breed. All inductees will be honored in the APHA Hall of Fame and Educational Outreach Center located in association’s new office in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
The inductees of the 2018 APHA Hall of Fame class have been announced. They are:

“It is our responsibility as APHA members to remember the past and honor those who have made today’s APHA possible,” Executive Director Billy Smith said.
Introduced in 2012, the Hall of Fame and its selection committee is carrying on the tradition of honoring the breed’s colorful history with each class of legendary horses and horsemen. The 2018 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on March 2, 2019, during the 2019 APHA Convention at the Marriott DFW South in Fort Worth, Texas.
