Indiana NSBA Breakout Show to Honor Memory of Clint Collingsworth

The Indiana NSBA Breakout Show is set to honor the memory of Clint Collingsworth this coming weekend in Cloverdale, Indiana. There will be a $2,500 added Three-Year-Old Intermediate Open Western Pleasure Class that will show on Saturday where the money will be split up according to NSBA’s payout scale. Friends close to Clint, Ashley Lakins and Meghan Tierney, both contributed $1,000 each to the class to honor their friend.

“Doug and I just wanted to do something to keep Clint’s memory alive,” Tara Landon told us, who is helping organize the class. “We are donating a traveling trophy that will be awarded each year to the winner.”

In its first year, the show, which is managed by Greg Wheat, is the first-weekend NSBA only show ever to take place. “There will be double NSBA points awarded, and it will be a great place for newcomers to come try and compete in the open show classes that we will be offering at the show,” Tara states. “It will a great place for people to come show, have fun and not have to spend a lot of money.”
