Scottsdale, Arizona – Kimes Ranch is proud to announce their latest endorsee, NRHA professional Matt Mills of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mills will be joining other reining trainers on the KRJ family such as Bud Lyon, Bill Norwood, Matt Armenta, and Martin Muehlstaetter. Kimes Ranch puts special emphasis on their endorsee program and consider their team members to be more like family, and Matt Mills is no exception.
Born and raised in Southern California, Mills had a successful youth career showing in a variety of disciplines, including western pleasure and trail. In 1997, he began showing in NRHA events and has gone on to have a very successful show career with many NRHA futurity finalists and NRBC Level 3 Championship titles. Mills now specializes in futurity and derby horses and also coaches non pros and youth riders. Additionally, Mills was a member of Team USA and brought home a gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in 2006.
Matt is excited to join the KRJ family, “Partnering with Kimes Ranch is an unbelievable opportunity. My training operation is based in Scottsdale so I have known the Kimes family for over 20 years. Their products are high quality and I especially like 
the caps – a necessity in the Arizona summers.” Mills’ Kimes Ranch jeans of choice are the Raw Dillions and he is seldom seen without a KRJ hat atop his head. He also is a big fan of the family atmosphere of Kimes Ranch Jeans, as his own family-wife Karen and children Ryan, Emma, and Alec- play a huge role in his success.
