Iron Enterprise to Retire after 2018 Breeding Season

After much consideration, Capall Creek Farm has decided that 2018 will be the last breeding season that the great stallion Iron Enterprise will stand to the public.

At 20 years of age, “Money” has more than earned his retirement. As the sire of over 80 World/Congress Champions and Reserves including the 2013 Farnum Superhorse, his foals have grossed more than $360,000 in winnings over his career. He has sired champions in almost every event from Hunter Under Saddle, Trail, Working Hunter, Horsemanship, Equitation Over Fences, Pleasure Driving, Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunter Hack.

Iron Enterprise’s success as a sire has spanned over a decade as he continues to leave his mark on the industry. This year alone, “Money” sired his first Multiple International Champion as well as an AQHA Youth World Champion, three Congress Champions, one Congress Reserve Champion and 13 Congress/AQHA World Top five Winners.

The decision to retire “Money” did not come lightly as he is in great health for his age. Owner Amy Smith stated, “After living at Select Breeders Services In Aubrey, Texas for the past two years ‘working’, we are very much looking forward to bringing him home to wander the pastures and smell the salty sea air of Hampstead, North Carolina at the end of this season.”

Capall Creek farm urges anyone who wants to take part in this stallion’s legendary progeny to contact Melanie Thurston to book your mare. She can be reached at 207-514-4790 or capallcreek@gmail.com.
