GoHorseShow would like to send get well wishes to youth competitor, Abbey Rawlings of Australia, who was injured in a water skiing accident this weekend. Last year, this fierce competitor was bronze champion at the Youth World and 12-14 Congress Champion in the western pleasure.
“Unfortunately a good weekend water skiing didn’t end up so well for Abbey, with completely destroying her ACL ligament and MCL ligament. Surgery is all booked for the 20th of February for a complete knee ACL reconstruction with a very long road to recovery,” her mother, Rebecca Rawlings states. “She won’t be able to ride or show horses again until probably the end of December.”
We hope Abbey has a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back in the show arena soon.
