The WCHA Breeders Championship Moves to Fort Worth

The WCHA Breeders Championship and Big Money Futurities will be held at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, September 23-24, 2017. This prestigious event will be held at the Watt Arena of the Moncrief Building in conjunction with the APHA World Championship Show.

The Futurities will be managed independently by WCHA, and all registered western stock horse breeds are welcome to compete. Judge selections will be announced soon. The event will feature vendors, an exhibitor party and much more.

To facilitate the move of the WCHA Futurity to Fort Worth, a new Breeders Futurity Committee was appointed for 2017. Headed by Committee Coordinator Michael Clites, new members include Chris Arentsen, John Boston, Beth Johnson Dunlap, Wayne Halvorson, Jerri Harmon, Bill Huckabee, Jarrell Jackson, Kimble Lewis, Dennis Mason, Anne Prince, Kelley Stone, and Mark Williams.

This group will be working hard to make this year’s Futurities a big success!

Stallion Nominations for WCHA & Big Money Futurities
Due March 15

Stallion nominations for the WCHA Breeders Championship and Big Money Futurities are now being accepted. You can access the nomination form for the WCHA Futurity by clicking here. To view or download the stallion form for the Big Money Halter Futurity, click here.

ADVERTISEMENT

The fee to nominate to the WCHA Futurity is one times the advertised stud fee, or $750 if private treaty. Nomination fee for the Big Money Halter Futurity is $2,000. Both futurities offer a split payment plan option for the stallion nominations.

Attend WCHA Annual Meeting
