RECENT UPDATE: Tuesday, December 13, 2016
“We are so happy and blessed to report that Lily has had a full recovery after her horse accident last July,” Lily’s mother, Deanna Hobbs told us. “After three surgeries and four months of physical therapy her shoulder has healed completely. She’s back at the barn, riding as much as possible, and is very excited for the 2017 show season. She was also recently elected as Reporter in the WSQHYA for the coming year. Many thanks to everyone who prayed, sent flowers and reached out to support her. All the support was incredibly touching and meant a lot to her.”

Please join us in sending get well wishes for a speedy recovery to 13 & under exhibitor, Lily Richardson of Monroe, Washington. Lily suffered a severe broken shoulder and growth plate from a horseback riding injury (not on her horse). She is having surgery Wednesday to place pins in her shoulder. Richardson, who shows on the AQHA show circuit under the guidance of Paige Stroud of Monroe, Washington, was most recently an All-Around Champion at the Oregon Summer Classic with her horse, Chips Heart.
“She’s in a lot of pain but mostly crying about not being able to ride for the rest of the summer,” Lily’s mother, Deanna Hobbs says. “They have to put pins in her shoulder that will stick out of her skin for six weeks, then another surgery to remove the pins.”
“She’s receiving a lot of love from her friends and family,” Lily’s mother, Deanna Hobbs told us. “Thank you so much for everyone’s love and support.”
