Over $35,000 Raised for Allie Paul

GoHorseShow is happy to report that after a brief stay in the hospital, Allie Paul, daughter of Ohio trainers Jennifer and Judd Paul, is headed home to recover. After a successful kidney transplant in November of 2014, the little girl has had a few setbacks of late. However, Allie is a fighter and she is feeling better. The horse community has shown their support by donating over $35,000 to help cover the costs of her recent hospital stays and help the family care for their daughter.

Judd Paul recently posted on his Facebook page, “An unbelievable feeling to be taking our Pride and Joy Miss Allie home. She still has antibiotics to take for awhile, but she is so happy to be headed home. Words cannot express how we feel by all the love and prayers we received from our family, friends and our horse family. Thank you all.”

Allie’s grandmother LuAnn Knost is currently having a silent auction to help Allie at the DDesigns booth at the Madness Show in Wilmington, Ohio.

“Allie got to come home last night,” LuAnn shared with us. “I was able to meet up with all of them and she was beyond excited to go to her own home. Allie is a little weak and trying to get back to feeling better. We are doing some things in the silent auction and about four items live before the Slot class. Tammy Dyer and I are so excited to be doing this for the family. Everyone in the horse community has been beyond generous. We want to thank everyone for all their generosity, from texts, phone calls, personal greetings and gifts and donations.”

Donations to the silent auction can be dropped off at the booth or shipped to her. All donations can be made payable to the Allie Paul Fund.
