Gut Jaidhof, a private, high-end equestrian estate in Austria, is looking for an assistant barn manager. The Gutmann family breed, train and show mainly quarter horses for the hunter under saddle and western pleasure events.
Requirements include: HGV license; Drive Horsebox; First-Aid; Equine First-Aid; Handling Youngstock; Lunging; Bandaging; Clipping; Exercising; Starting/Breaking; People Skills; Managing and conditioning horses (walker, lunging, aquatredmill, vibraplate, etc.), cleaning stalls, assisting in breaking young horses, assisting vets, hauling horses, assisting at shows.
The person must have high level skills in handling and managing horses, great work ethic and communication skills . This is a chance to join a team that’s successful at the highest level of competition. Apartment on site available.
