NSBA’s board of directors and Breeders Championship Futurity (BCF) Committee met this month to review participation numbers and payout in Trail and Western Riding BCF classes.
The following changes to the BCF will be in effect beginning in 2016.
1. A new BCF 3 Year Old Open Trail class and BCF 3 Year Old Non Pro Trail class will be added to the current BCF class list.
2. The existing BCF 3-6 Year Old Trail and Western Riding classes will be revised to BCF 4-6 Year Old Classes.
Horses that have participated in NSBA’s BCF Yearling Sale are eligible for an additional purse in BCF classes as a two year old or three year old. A three year old is now eligible to ride for its sale graduate money in the new Trail classes.
