PF Candids and Rundown from 2015 Pinto World Championship Show

The 2015 Pinto World Championship Show is in its final week of competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With well over 10,000 entries, this show is only second in size to the All American Quarter Horse Congress.

The show promotes a family atmosphere with huge lead line and walk trot classes as well as theme days such as Pink Day, Hawaiian Day, Red White and Blue Day and Spirit Day.

The two week event has had tough competition and high quality horses in several classes – the largest classes having over 50 entries. This is the first year they have run three different arenas for the majority of the show. They also held The Paws Cause Adoption event in Arena 3 where 10 dogs found new homes!

The show led by Darrel Bilke and Kim Hall hired some of the best judges and ring stewards in the business including: Mike and Charlene Carter, Merle Arbo, Bruce Army, as well as two AQHA Past Presidents Mike Perkins and Bill Englund. Ring stewards included Don Manuello, Cheryl Ogle, Buddy Winchester, Ron McMillan, and Rick Stevens. The judges monitors included Curt Summers and Mike Baker.

The show has fabulous prizes including world and reserve champion buckles and nice ribbons for all classes as well as saddles, tack trunks and head stalls for several classes and specialty events. This show is becoming one of the not-to-miss fun events of the year. We congratulate them on a job well done.
