More PF Candids and Results from Sun Circuit in Scottsdale, AZ

The Arizona Sun Circuit is a favorite horse show for many people and GoHorseShow.com is there to capture great candids from the circuit’s events. The show comes at a time of the year when most people are just glad to be in Scottsdale, Arizona…even if the weather isn’t perfect. The Sun Circuit has seen its share of sketchy weather, but regardless, it is better than most places in the rest of the country. The show runs through February 1st with huge classes, clinics, entertainment, exhibitor parties, and a shopping expo.

The judges for the show include Russ Smith, Valerie Kearns, Betsy Tuckey, Tom McBeath, Marilyn Randall, Chris Jeter, Gretchen Mathes, John Pipkin Elizabeth Baker, Jeff Allen, Cliff Kellmer, Billy Cochrane, Christina Riley, Peter Morgan, Joe Carter, Doug Allen, Michele Pearson, and David Avery.

“The show has been really well attended,” says Jennifer Kyle, an amateur all-around competitor who rides under the guidance of Nancy Renfro. “The numbers have been great. I was a little worried that because of the Super Bowl being in town–people might not come. That’s definitely not been the case. I’ve picked up points in all my events and it has been a lot of fun so far.”

Amateur Cathrin Gutmann of Austria, is debuting in Arizona on her new horse, Boys Move Over who she has with Nancy Sue Ryan, and Only Afraid In The Dark with Michael Colvin, adds, “I love Scottsdale–great weather, the horses are outstanding and there are great places to go eat. It is just a good break from winter at home in Austria.”
