Quarter Horses to March in London New Year’s Day Parade

American Quarter Horses to March in London New Year’s Day ParadeAnnually, a parade in the United Kingdom on New Year’s Day celebrates All the Queen’s Horses. For 2015, that 75-horse parade will include 12 American Quarter Horses who will be bearing the AQHA banner as they march through the streets of London. It’s the first time Quarter Horses have been included in the parade, and for the 12 horses to be allowed to walk as a block was a special dispensation, according to Lindsay Doel of the United Kingdom, one of the organizers.
