Suzetta Busby died on November 28, 2014 at the home. She was born on March 13, 1948 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of W.E. (Buddy) Braun and Betty Batschelett Braun. On May 2, 1970 Suzetta married James (Jim) Busby who survives of the home.

For more than 40 years Suzetta had been a horse trainer which began as a hobby and quickly turned into a life long career. She coached and traveled nationwide with her students and horses up until recently. She had been a mentor to many in the horse industry. She was a member and had served as national director of the American Paint Horse Association. She was also a member of the National Snaffle Bit Association and the American Pinto Horse Association being a past carded judge with both. Suzetta was a member of the Missouri Paint Horse Association and served as president and treasurer. She was the treasurer of the Henry County Fair Board for several years as well as Fields Creek Township Collector.
She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. Suzetta is survived by her husband, James E. Busby; her mother, Betty Braun; one sister, Sharlene Wirsig and husband, Richard, and one niece, Lana Wirsig, step nephew, Blaik Wirsig and wife Cindy; two aunts, Darlene Woods and Mary Batschelett. She also leaves numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, W.E. Braun, paternal grandparents, Henry and Violet Braun, maternal grandparents, Walter and Ruth Batschelett.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton, Missouri. A private family burial will follow at Englewood Cemetery.
