I Got Em Talkin to Stand at Highpoint for 2015 Breeding Season

I Got Em Talkin, fondly known as “Buzz” will be standing at Highpoint Performance Horses in Pilot Point, Texas for the 2015 breeding season. The 2010 APHA/PtHA gray overo stallion is by APHA leading sire, I Got Charisma, and out of a multiple AQHA World Champion/Reserve SuperHorse producing TB mare, Fight Over Emmie. Buzz has earned multiple ROMs in several events and he was the 2013 Reserve World Champion Junior Pleasure Driving at his first-ever APHA World Show.

“Buzz is not like many other Paint stallions,” says owner, Dominic DeStefano of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. “He brings a rare color, impeccable attitude, and a dynamic skill set. His outstanding pedigree speaks for itself, a lineage of athleticism and great minds. You know a stud is special by the amount of heart and dedication they show. Buzz strives to please every time he steps into the show pen.”

At the Pinto World Championship Show this year, he was a three-time World Champion in the Open Ideal Pinto Overo, and the unanimous winner in the Open Pleasure Driving, and Green Working Hunter under the guidance of Mason Lyon. Lyon currently trains Buzz out of Hughes Quarter Horses which is owned by Paris Hughes in Burleson, Texas.

“We bought Buzz as a two year-old and just instantly enjoyed being around him,” Lyon told GoHorseShow. “He was so quiet–things other horses would spook at he would just cruise on by. He took to the driving great, and, then, we added the jumping with the intention of only doing the hunter hack this year but he enjoyed it so much we figured we would just do it. The Pinto World was a big show for him–winning the driving in a tough class of horses and to go out and march around the Green Working Hunter was just great. I think people realized at the show just how good minded and athletic he was. I am very proud of this young stallion and think he has a great future ahead in the show and breeding arena.”

At the upcoming APHA World Show, Buzz is entered in six classes–the Junior Hunter Under Saddle, Junior Hunter Hack, Preliminary Working Hunter, Junior Working Hunter, Junior Pleasure Driving, and Utility Driving.

“We are all excited to have the opportunity to stand him and promote him his introductory season,” says Highpoint Breeding manager, Christi Christensen.

His 2015 introductory breeding fee will be $1,000 including chute fee with special considerations to world champion mares.
