WCHA Welcomes Six New Judges

Sheffield, Iowa – May 19, 2014 – The World Conformation Horse Association is pleased to announce six new judges carded by the association. WCHA applicants were invited to test for their WCHA cards April 29th and 30th at the WCHA Judges Seminar in Gainesville, Texas.

The newest WCHA Judges are; Chris Arentsen of Trenton, Illinois; Jon Barry of Advance, Missouri; Justin Bisel of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; Jerri Harmon of Decatur, Mississippi; Timothy Jackson of Sardinia, Ohio; and Rose Santos of Chino Hills, California.
Judge Applicants must be a current WCHA member in order to apply for their WCHA Judges Card. After submitting an application and references, each applicant is reviewed by the WCHA Judges committee who approve and select those applicants to be invited to the WCHA Judges Seminar/Credentialing process, where they are evaluated on, a written test, oral interview, live judging and reasons.
“We are fortunate such a professional group of applicants have an interest in WCHA and joining us as we try to enhance and grow the industry. Congratulations to our newest group of ‘carded’ judges who, along with those previously receiving cards, we know will work hard to continue to set the ‘standard’ for objective non-biased confirmation judging encouraging members at all levels to participate”, said Judges Committee Chair, Jodi Sullivan.
