The Oklahoma State Fair Park continues to evolve into a 21st Century Destination Tourism Attraction, most recently by implementing a $90 million dollar equine renovation project. The planned improvements includes a new parking area, site improvements and the construction of a multi-use exposition hall which is currently on the drawing board. This building will replace aging public event buildings at State Fair Park, particularly those used year-round by the public for antique shows, equipment shows, craft fairs, trade shows and the annual Oklahoma State Fair.
The newest chapter in State Fair Park renovations, the construction of a 290,000 square-foot exhibit building, is scheduled to begin after the 2014 Oklahoma State Fair, September 11 – 21. The recent renovations combined with the upcoming project, will further transform State Fair Park into an unequaled event venue.
