It was a long drive from Summerton, South Carolina, to Roberts Arena in Wilmington, Ohio, but Kristy Starnes and Al The Right Moves made it count by winning the $500 Added NSBA Three Year Old Hunter Under Saddle class on Sunday at the Madness In March circuit. The pair also closed out the show as the unanimous AQHA choice and NSBA winner in the Green Hunter Under Saddle, as well as earning the circuit award for Green Hunter Under Saddle.

Saturday–Certain Potential Son Wins 15k 3yr & Older Novice WP in Ohio
A cold front may have brought snow and cooler temperatures to Roberts Arena in Wilmington on Saturday, but the competition was still hot at the Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association’s Madness in March circuit. The day saw the conclusion of the show’s Western classes including Trail, Western Riding, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure and timed events, and also featured the Three Year Old and Older Novice Horse Western Pleasure and the $1,000 Three Year Old Non-Pro Western Pleasure.

Friday–Friday’s Winners at Madness in March Announced
Day Two of the Madness in March AQHA/NSBA Show at Roberts Arena in Wilmington saw Showmanship, Halter, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation and Reining class competition, with several NSBA added money events as well.

Thursday–March Madness Underway in Ohio
March Madness of another kind is underway at Roberts Arena in Wilmington, Ohio with horses – rather than basketball – in competition. The Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association is hosting its annual Madness in March AQHA/NSBA show, which began March 27 and runs through March 30. This year’s show has attracted huge numbers, with more than 600 stalls sold for the event, according to show management.
