Mike & Stephanie Jennings of Professional Horse Services, LLC, Round Hill, Virginia, are excited about the results of their first full year of Online Horse Auctions.
“We helped our customers sell and buy 296 horses for $856,925. The High Selling Horse for the online auctions, at $26,600, was Skippin Through Smoke, a 2008 gelding by Don’t Skip Zip, ROM Western Pleasure and All Around Horse. Gangstah, the second High Selling horse at $23,000, is a 2005 Palomino Stallion, multiple PHBA World Champion and AQHA ROM. The top 10 horses sold for an average of $18,660. The overall average price of $2,895, which is higher than ANY of our live auctions in 2011 and 2012, except for the Congress Super Sale,” according to Mike Jennings.
The Online Auction format allows us to help customers across the US and Canada, as well as the International market. In addition to selling nice horses for good money, the online auctions have allowed us to help sell horses that are usually hard to move.
Online Auctions are now an important sales tool for horses. Auctions have always been an accelerated marketing process where sellers can aim at a date when they get an offer on, or sell, their horse. Buyers have an opportunity to purchase horses at their price.
With the experience of selling more than 50,000 horses, Mike and Stephanie can help sellers and buyers with their sale transaction. Sellers will receive assistance in getting good photos, videos and information to present their horses. With a results database including more than 40,000 horses sold, we can provide sellers information to determine a real market value to expect for their horses. Buyers will find more information on our online catalog page than they will find on anyotherInternet marketing site. We encourage buyers to contact sellers and provide information so they can.
Professional Horse Services uses a mix of advertising in traditional print magazines as well as the increasingly popular digital magazines. Email blasts go to approximately 600,000 email addresses.
Entries are still open for the January Online Auction. It is best to enter by January 10 to get good exposure for horses. The bidding will open on Monday, January 20 and will begin closing on Wednesday evening, January 22.
