Darol Rodrock Foundation Benefits Foster Children

Darol Rodrock is making good on a promise he made to himself long ago as a troubled youth bouncing in and out of Kansas-area orphanages and foster homes. The former Shawnee Mission West high school educator and wrestling coach, now Johnson County new-home community developer, has established the Darol Rodrock Foundation benefiting foster children.

His hope is to build a bridge that connects these children to the support they need to help them realize the good in them and help them overcome the loneliness and uncertainty they may feel, to enrich their life and find a way to help them fulfill the destiny that God has planned for them.
“I really understand the emotions of children in foster care because I have lived it,” Rodrock said.
