Banks Ready Rides for First Time Since Accident

According to Banks Ready’s father, Banks was really missing riding so the family began asking around for a good broke horse safe for him. Trainer Mike Hachtel got in touch with his friend Wade Spell who called one of his clients, Michelle Truxel. Michelle and her daughter, Mia brought Mitchell to the Banks Family from Indiana so that Banks would have a horse to jog around the barn.

“Banks rode for the first time this weekend and really wanted to lope,” his father says. “He wasn’t supposed to, but I trusted in God and he delivered. Banks loped for the first time since May 2012! We would like to thank Mike, Wade, and especially Michelle and Mia for their great generosity.”

Banks will also be at Paint Fall World, November 8th through about noon on Monday, November 11th.

“Please be sure and come by to see him,” says his father, George, who will be bringing him to the show. “He is really excited to see all his friends again who he didn’t catch at Tunica this spring. I will be in meetings so he will be hanging around the arena and at the stalls of Mike Hachtel and Fred Tabor.”
