The Dogwood Classic was held this past week, June 26th through the 30th in Harriman, Tennessee. This show was sponsored by TQHA Region 2 and featured a Special Event on Wednesday with western pleasure and trail classes. Carolyn Johnson and James Rudolph judged the special event while Peter Morgan, Debra Cooper, Jason Smith, Louis Hufnagel and Chele McGauly judged the split/combined shows. The Dogwood also featured a novice step up incentive prize. If a novice exhibitor showed in a novice class and then showed in the corresponding youth or amateur class, they would go into a daily drawing for special prizes.
