INTRODUCTORY CLASSES

On another front, the lineup of  “Introductory” classes have been opened up to all AjPHA youth showing Regular Registry horses.

Ride the Pattern is a new way to gain knowledge in your quest to World Show success. MIXING IT UP WITH APHC

We have a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with youth exhibitors who will be on-site competing at the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show.

Classes that are not World Championships are a perfect chance to have fun together, so exhibitors from both groups are invited to participate in:

• Freestyle Shankless Showmanship

• Ride-A-Buck Western Equitation

• Youth Versatility Challenge

• Hopes & Dreams Barrel Racing Sweepstakes

• Hopes & Dreams Pole Bending Sweepstakes

• Challenged Riders’ Leadline

There’s always something fun to do in Fort Worth – which is especially true when you’re at the Youth World Show! In addition to showing your horse, we have lots of fun and free activities right here on site to keep you busy and smiling.

Boot Camp, AjPHA National Convention, Youth Judging Contest, Dog Races, Youth Welcome Party, Stick Horse Class, Egg Toss, Ice Cream Social and Boot Scramble

Plus we will have new friends from the Appaloosa Horse Club on site to help make even more spectacular memories.

QUALIFYING REQUIRED FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES

Beginning in 2012, World Show participation qualification is required for every horse shown in World Championship classes at the AjPHA Youth World Show. Participation at four different APHA-approved show events with a minimum of 8 judges is the key. At no time will the number of points or lack thereof be considered for qualification.

To verify if your horse has qualified, check the Qualifiers link on the Youth World Show website, ywcs.apha.com.

NOTE: Horses being shown only in non-World Championship classes do not have to qualify.
