After three days of competition in which horse and rider had to compete in three different events, Trail, Western Riding and Western Pleasure, MWS Sevens Are Hot and Ryan Cottingham of New Albany, Indiana, came out victorious. Cottingham rode the gray mare by Hot N Blazing out of MWS Zipped In Chock for Sarah Maggert of Paris, Illinois. The team recorded top placings in all three events and were rewarded with a $10,000 Harris show saddle for their efforts.
MWS Sevens Are Hot, a former Congress Winner in Senior Trail and two-time AQHA Reserve World Champion in Amateur trail is no stranger to the winner’s circle.
