It is with a lot of emotion that Wallace and Cristy Heck announce the Complete Dispersal of Heck Yea! Quarter Horses in Terry, Mississippi, in an online auction January 29, 2013 with Mike Jennings of Professional Horse Services, LLC.
Cristy Heck said, “This includes our two World Champion stallions, A Legend At Last and Gangstah, ten plus broodmares in foal, seven broodmares ready for February breeding, and our entire world class halter horse show string, in all–nearly 40 horses.”
The Hecks will host two preview weekends at the farm, January 18-20 and January 25-27. All pedigree information, photos of each horse and owners notes will be on both www.ProHorseServices.com and www.HeckYea.com by January 10th. To register for bidding go to the Pro Horse Services site after January 10.
Cristy added, “After nearly 15 years breeding AQHA Halter Horses, it is time for the Heck’s to narrow their focus, concentrating on business operations in Baton Rouge, and spending more time on the water and on their boat, Heck Yea! There will still be time in the show ring for the Heck’s with long time trainers and friends, Monte Horn Show Horses. The Horn’s continue to serve their customers in their barn adjacent to the Heck Yea! Quarter Horse breeding facility in Terry, Mississippi.”
This is a great opportunity to expand any halter horse program with lots of great pedigrees and producers. All open mares are being prepared for February breeding. An active breeding facility, Heck Yea! Quarter Horses can offer breeding services should any new owner wish to have a mare bred before transport.
