GoHorseShow is sad to report the passing of well loved and popular ring steward, Donna Hall Stampley of Como, Mississippi. Stampley unexpectedly passed away in her sleep from an apparent heart attack.
“I had the opportunity to work with Donna at the Tunica, Mississippi show a few months ago, and she was one of the sweetest people I ever had the opportunity to meet,” says, AQHA judge and GoHorseShow writer, Laura Gilmer. “Anyone who judges knows how important your ring steward is and she was kind, gracious and a beautiful person inside and out.”
GoHorseShow sends our condolences to her family. We have posted her funeral arrangements below which were provided by show secretary Pat Kress.
Arrangements for Donna Hall Stampley are: Visitation Saturday night from 6-8 at Ray Nowell Funeral Home on Hwy 51 in Senatobia, Mississippi. Funeral on Sunday at 2 pm. Memorials may be made to Panola County Livestock Assoc. 212 Stonewall St. Sardis, MS 38666. They want money to go to the show kids. As we said earlier, Donna was all for doing for the kids.
