Steve Meadows Wins Living The Mission Award

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate trainer, Steve Meadows, on winning the Living The Mission Award that is given every year at the Congress during the Masters Classes to the trainer that exemplifies integrity and honesty in our industry.

“I would like to thank Chris Darnell, Scott Myers, Denny Thorsell, and Connie Hill for this amazing honor,” Steve told GoHorseShow after the presentation. “The Congress and the Southern Belle do such an outstanding job in promoting our industry and I am so humbled by this award.”

When we asked if it was a surprise, Steve laughs and said that his wife tried to keep it a secret. However, they had already gone home from the Congress when his wife, Becky, kept telling him that they needed to go back and watch the Masters Class.

“I kept telling her that we didn’t have time because we needed to get ready for the World Show, so, she finally had to break it to me. We drove back yesterday to accept the award, and I’m still in shock and so thankful to be presented with this award,” Steve says.

The late June Warren and Bret Parrish are previous winners of this award.
