Rodrock Stallions Move to Texas

GoHorseShow reports that Darol Rodrock of Bucyrus, Kansas has decided to move his stallions, Certain Potential, Only In The Moonlite, Huntin For Chocolate, and A Scenic Impulse to Whitesboro, Texas. These elite stallions will be managed by Kim Dean and will stand at McEquine Enterprises where Rick McDonald is the breeding manager.

“I appreciated all the help from my past breeding manager, Joe Jeane, but he decided it was too cold in Kansas,” says Darol Rodrock, owners of these top western pleasure stallions. “I’ve decided to cut back on my herd and try to cut down on expenses and Kim Dean gave me an unbelievable deal to stand my stallions.”

Rodrock adds, “Kim did an outstanding job with A Good Machine and now Machine Made, and I think she is perfect for the job. I believe I have some of the best stallions in the industry and I am offering outstanding incentives and reduced stallion fees for next year that will be amazing deals for our customers. All the stallions’ offspring are having a great year in the show arena, and I look forward to next year’s breeding season!”

Darol Rodrock is so appreciative of the mare owners that have bred to all of his stallions in the past, he’d like to show gratitude by offering CP at such an unheard of fee. The way the fees work out, if a breeder pays by 12/31/12 and breeds two mares, the total stud fees for BOTH mares is $3400—that is less than it cost to breed 1 mare to Certain last year—and this is an opportunity of a lifetime to breed to one of the best stallions in the industry.
