Despite a train that derailed on July 11 near Interstate 71 in Columbus, Ohio, the AQHA Region Four Championship Show is still on schedule.
A mile-wide area that included part of the Ohio Expo Center where the Regional Championship is held, has been evacuated, however, the American Red Cross has established a shelter at the Rhodes Center, located on the Ohio Expo Center grounds, for those impacted.
The Ohio Expo Center is expected to be open and fully-functional on Thursday morning for all horses arriving for the July 13-15 Region Four Championship.
Any changes will be posted at www.oqha.com as soon as information becomes available.
