According to many people who attended The Iowa Show Circuit at Jacobson Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, the show was a huge success. Formerly known as the Iowa 7-Day Run, this show was restructured and now has six AQHA Approved Split/Combined shows. There were over 8,700 entries at the one fee show that included stall, all entree fees, and office charges. The judges were John and Betsy Tuckey, Clint Fullerton, Tracey Willis, Jennifer Thompson, and Scott Merritt.
“It was a huge show with great judges,” says Robin Frid, who brought ten horses to the show. “It was economically the best show that we were able to attend and the fairgrounds and the competition was very steep. The amateur classes had on average seven to eight point classes and the youth had
six to seven point classes—it was definitely a must go to show.”
