GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Susan Knapp of Van Meter, Iowa on the birth of a filly by Lazy Loper and out of her World and Congress Champion mare, Cool Krymsun Lady, (Annie) on Tuesday April 3rd at 4am.
“This one is definitely lazy–we had to make her get up and take a picture,” says Sara Heeley, who is Susan Knapp’s daughter. “Looking forward to what the future holds for this one!”
Last year, at the Congress, Heeley, won the extremely competitive Non-Pro Western Maturity Stakes–Limited and was third in the Non-Pro Maturity Stakes-Open on Annie. Her husband, Patrick, was also the Congress Markel Western Pleasure Maturity-Limited Division Finals Reserve Champions with this multiple world champion mare.
The 2005 bay mare is by One Hot Krymsun and out of Cool Lookin Lady. Annie has foals by other outstanding pleasure stallions on the way to the show ring!
In 2007, Annie was the AQHA World Champion in the Two Year-Old Western Pleasure. In 2009, she was the AQHA World Champion in the Junior Western Pleasure and in 2010, the Reserve World Champion in the Junior Western Riding. This mare also has over $100,000 in futurity earnings.
Congrats to the Knapp Family on their gorgeous baby!
