Dublin Ohio–We want to congratulate Madison Thiel and the Thiel family on their recent purchase of KM Sudden Lil Zip. “Jackie O” is a three year-old black mare that was bred and raised by Ken and Marilyn Masterson. She is by their famous stud, RL Best of Sudden, and out of one of Ken’s favorite mares.
Madison just recently sold her gelding Im Good As It Gets to the Jolstad family of Denver Colorado. “We had been together for so long that it was hard to sell him but when I knew he was going to a great family and to a little girl I was okay with it,” Madison said. ” I am really excited about moving on to the next step in my youth career. This is my first year in 14-18 so I wanted to get something really flashy. Jackie O is the perfect match for me. I am excited about showing her in the pleasure and the non pro western events,” Madison stated. The Thiel sisters, Charley and Madison, show with Beckey Schooler and recently returned from a successful and memorable March to the Arch.
Most of you know Charley and her horse TopHat and Tails, aka Patrick, as the 2011 World Show Champions in Hunter under Saddle. Charley, who also shows in reining with her new horse Brillant Guns with Bill Bowen Performance Horses, was just recently chosen to represent the USA on the USA World Cup team that will compete in Germany this July. The older sister, Mackenzie, who is in college, was also just crowned the Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association Queen for 2012. The Thiel sisters have been showing quarter horses for close to ten years and enjoy the friendships and the memories that it has provided their entire family.
