Ron Emmons was determined to leave everything Olena Oak had in the show pen. Ron had coasted through the preliminaries, trying to be just clean enough to make the finals. But February 5, he was ready to ask for everything the 2002 sorrel stallion had. “I told my wife Ladona before we started,’ I’m going to hang it out a little bit today,’” the Ione, California, trainer said. “And every time I asked him for anything, he gave it to me.”
