GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Cathrin Gutmann of Austria on the purchase of the 2010 Congress Two Year-Old Coughlin Western Pleasure Futurity Champion, Onlyafraid Inthedark (Jellybean), by Invitation Only and out of, I Like It In The Dark.
Gutmann of Austria Purchases Onlyafraid Inthedark
This talented mare who was bred and owned by Randy Kimmel, won the 2010 Congress futurity with Karen Hornick and was fourth in the 2011 Three Year-Old Open Western Pleasure Derby with Shane Pope. Gutmann also recently announced the purchase of Al Be Graceful from Adria Smith after this year’s Congress. The mare will be shipped over to Italy to remain in training with Karin and Ruggero Prevedel in December.
“I’m really proud to own her, and we’ll continue showing her in the Open with Karin Prevedel aboard and in the Non Pro events with me at the big shows in Europe next year,” Gutmann says. “My husband and I are currently renovating our place, an estate from the 19th century, and turning it into a hunt seat and performance facility. It should be ready within the next year!”
Gutmann said she would like to thank Karin and Ruggero Prevedel and Gil Galyean Quarter Horses for finding her Jellybean, Randy Kimmel and his family, and the whole team at Shane Pope Quarter Horses.
