A: Iron Age’s first foals are yearlings with a few entering some lunge line competitions, so our hopes are really set on 2012 when the 2 year olds hit the pen. We are super excited about next year’s futurities. These Irons Are Hot has an amazing sire record., especially for such a young sire. Besides a growing position on the leading sires list, he has sired multiple Congress champions, Reichert champions, reserve world champions plus winners in ever major futurity!

A: For such a young sire, these numbers show the great sire power this horse has. These Irons Are Hot consistently complements the mares and the resulting product is what everyone is looking for. His oldest foals are just starting to be shown in other events as well so we know that his climb up the leading sites list is inevitable. We find the soundness and show-ability factors are a common denominator with his get. We are very proud of his ranking and are excited about the years to come.

Q: How did it feel for Iron Age to have the highest selling english yearling at the Reichert sale this year in his first foal crop?

A: We are thrilled with the great response to his first foal crop. The foals have been big, pretty and great movers plus their minds are incredible. Iron Endeavors is a great colt that we know will do great things. It nice to see the buying public agrees with our value of the colts. We couldn’t be more pleased and know great things are yet to come.
