Moorman, Brzezicki, Watkins Become Certified Horsemen

AQHA Professional Horsemen become Certified Horsemanship Association Master-Level Instructors.

Three AQHA Professional Horsemen received high certification honors at a recent Certified Horsemanship Association standard instructor certification clinic at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.

Andy Moorman of Venice, Florida; Anne Brzezicki of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and Amy Watkins of Canfield, Ohio, each received Master-Level Instructor certification and were recommended as assistant CHA clinic instructors.

The three women are the first AQHA Professional Horsemen to receive CHA certification at that high level.

“The value of this CHA certification to me is a great broadening of awareness and skills for all involved and an excellent sharing of information and experiences,” Moorman said. “This is very needed in our industry.”

An AQHA director from Florida, Moorman also serves on the AQHA Professional Horseman’s Council and the AQHA Show Committee. She was the 1998 AQHA Professional Horsewoman of the Year.

“I think it will be a great help to AQHA,” added Watkins, who is also an AQHA judge. “I would love to talk to anyone about the process and how it can help their business.”

An AQHA educational marketing alliance partner, CHA promotes excellence in equine safety and education internationally by certifying riding instructors, accrediting equine facilities and publishing educational materials. (Visit www.CHA-ahse.org for more information.)

“As two of the most-recognized organizations in their respective fields, both CHA and AQHA are committed to safety in the horse riding experience,” said Ward Stutz, AQHA director of education and breed integrity. “Through this partnership, AQHA members have access to qualified and certified riding instructors.”
