GoHorseShow is excited to report that the striking grey hunt seat stallion, So Riveting (Karma), was chosen to represent the Quarter Horse breed at the recent $200,000 Gene Mische Grand Prix in Tampa, Florida.
The $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational which is often called the “Super Bowl of Show Jumping,” brings together an elite international group of equestrians to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in all of show jumping.
Karma was one of eight horses in the Parade of Breeds that went on exhibition on the field before the Grand Prix. Beforehand, the owner of So Riveting, Teresa Porter, spent about four hours showing spectators Karma and discussing the versatility of the Quarter Horse – especially their abilities in English which are often overlooked by many outside the Quarter Horse industry
“It is amazing how many people were astonished that he was a Quarter Horse,” Teresa Porter told GoHorseShow.com. “Many people have no clue we show them in English and most had no idea they are tall like Karma.”
So Riveting is a 2003 grey stallion by Luke At Me out of And Rightly So which is a full sister to Skys Blue Boy. His 2011 stud fee is $950 and he is standing at Char-O-Lot Ranch in Myakka City, Florida.
