Congress Queen Brittany Barker Sells Bud Light Please

GoHorseShow.com would like to congratulate Maggie Bellville on the purchase of Bud Light Please (Murphy) from Congress Queen Brittany Barker. This 11 year-old buckskin AQHA gelding is a sixteen time ABRA World Champion with AQHA superiors in the western riding and horsemanship.

Brittany told us on the phone on her way back home from delivering Murphy to his new owner’s that she will miss him greatly but that she was ready for a new challenge. “I will miss Murphy’s exuberance and mischievous personality,” she says. “He was a horsemanship machine, and I could always count on him one hundred percent in the show arena.”

Barker continues, “He was a true all-around horse. He loved the jumping, barrels, and the roping. I know I was fortunate to own a horse like him.”

Murphy’s new owner, Maggie Bellville, will compete in the select all around events under the guidance of AQHA judge and professional horseman Rob Meneely.

“I love Murphy’s athleticism and can do attitude. It took some time to find him after I sold World Champion, GPF Legal Version to Dan Henson in January,” Bellville says. “Thanks To Congress Queen Brittany Barker for allowing me to purchase this great horse. I know Murphy, and I will be a great team- can’t wait to get out there!”

Bellville was also Select World Champions in 2008 in Select Showmanship with GPF Legal Version. She also won the three year old geldings in 2009 with Hez Sacred and three year-old mares in 2010 with MTK Rules.
