Texas AQHA members can make a difference for the horse industry during this legislative session. AQHA is a member of Texas H.O.R.S.E. or Horse Organizations for Racing, Showing and Eventing. The momentum from Texas H.O.R.S.E. is beginning to shift attitudes about slot machines at racetracks and Indian tribes.
To support legislation that would benefit the horse industry in Texas, Texas H.O.R.S.E. is asking all Texas AQHA members to participate in Capitol Day on March 31.
Purpose: To show support in numbers on the steps of the Capitol as Texans from all over the state.
When: Thursday, March 31, 2011
