Dakota’s Favorite Restaurants and More While at the Congress

As the hometown girl, I would
like to welcome each and every one of you to the 44th Annual All
American Quarter Horse Congress!
This year, I wanted to start early by helping ya’ll out with a Columbus
A-Z list of businesses, entertainment, shopping and restaurants that may be
useful and make your visit more enjoyable.

Congress kicked off with our very
first Media Day. Our esteemed OQHA
Officers and Congress Tri-Chairman were on hand along with “Experience
Columbus” who worked hard this year to make your visit more interesting and
economical. In a blind leap of faith, OQHA
Executive VP, Cam Foreman asked moi to speak at the media event, along with our
amazing and accommodating OQHA President, Skip Salome, and local city
leaders.

Although you may not be
concerned with the numbers, Congress brings in over $100 million dollars to the
local economy and 650,000 visitors through the gates annually. I think City Councilman, Hearcel Craig
summed it up best when he noted with appreciation that your dollars help drive
the “economic engine” of our local
economy. For that, I extend a HUGE
thank you!

With the Congress’ great
proximity to The Ohio State University, I did enlist a little help from my
brother, Zack and his beautiful gf, Lyndsay as they are of age to be more
familiar with campus area “establishments”!

Please feel free to note any
suggestions, offer ratings, and/or comments you may have below, so that we can
fine-tune the list for future years!!!
If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, feel free to email me and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
Don’t forget the fabulous favorites right here on the show grounds too,
especially the GoHorseShow.com VIP Club, but for anyone brave enough to venture out of our little camp, I hope you’ll
find this helpful! Now, without
further adieu, program your GPS and let the party begin!

You are here

717 E. 17th Avenue

I’ve started out my list with my
favorite restaurants…a girl’s gotta eat! Puh-leeze, I am not making any warranties here, however I
did mark a few of my favorites with a star! Oh yeah, and don’t miss Experience
Columbus’ 25% off specials for local restaurants 10/8-10/11, by visiting experiencecolumbus.com or picking up a flyer at the Information booth in
Congress Hall
