The Texas
Quarter Horse Association names Barbara Linke as Executive Director.
Linke comes to TQHA from the American Quarter Horse
Association, our parent organization, where she developed her background of
serving the Quarter Horse industry. Most recently serving as the Senior
Director of Public Policy and Competition Administration, Linke brings 29 years
of industry experience to our organization. “I am so pleased to become a part of the Texas
Quarter Horse Association team, developing relationships and programs for the
benefit of all aspects of the Texas
Quarter Horse industry. I look forward to working for the great horse people of
our great state,” says Linke.
Linke will join our
team of six employees, overseeing all aspects of the organization including
Racing, Showing, and Youth programs. “At AQHA, Barbara has proven year after
year how valuable she is to the horse industry. We are so fortunate to have her
joining the TQHA team,” says President Robin Frid. Please join us in welcoming
