The Fall
World Championship Paint Horse Show is home to the vast majority of world-level
Open and Amateur Paint Horse competition hosted by the American Paint Horse
Association (APHA). The Fall World Show is also home to the Association’s slot
classes, the Hart Non-Pro Versatility Challenge and the Breeders’ Futurity
classes (which grow in scope annually).
One of
the benefits of splitting the World Show into Summer and Fall is an expanded
timeframe in which to offer classes, and one of the most obvious avenues of
expansion is for Amateur Solid Paint-Bred competition. This year, APHA will
offer 13 new Amateur Solid Paint-Bred classes during the Fall World Show:

“We
encourage all of our members to help get the word out about this exciting and
lengthy list of new class offerings for non-professionals who own and ride
Solid Paint-Bred horses,” said APHA Director of Amateur Activities & Show
Marketing Amy Stapleton. “We hope it will inspire some new faces to come
compete at the World level on horses that may not have extensive APHA show
records yet.”
The Fall
World Championship Paint Horse Show will be held November 4-13, 2010, at Will
Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will feature all Open and
Amateur World competition with the exception of reining and cattle events,
which are held during the Summer World Show. Pre-entry deadline is September
10, 2010, but entries are accepted with a late fee until 5 p.m. the day prior
to the class.
